$233,000 Settlement Reached in Three-Car Collision

The defendant collided with an oncoming vehicle, spinning into the side of the plaintiff’s SUV. Brown suffered an acute right shoulder injury (RTC tear) that required surgical repair, as well as cervical aggravating damage, as a result of the incident. The plaintiff’s medical specials totaled $88,000, and she filed a wage loss claim for her recovery period following surgery. Spotsylvania Circuit Court scheduled a two-day jury trial for the case. The total coverage was $250,000.
The case was settled for $233,000 a few months before trial.
